Conveyor Guard offers exceptional resistance to impact displacement due to the high resiliency of the wire.  The 2" x 4" mesh size provides excellent visibility, allowing full view of loads moving along the conveyor path.

Installation is simple and easy, can be readily handled by your own maintenance people.  No special engineering layouts are required.  Sections fasten to simple angle iron frames suspended from any convenient overhead support.   No special tools are needed and no bolting or welding is necessary.

General Data And Specifications

MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION --- Conveyor Guard is constructed of cold drawn #2-gauge wire fabricated into 2" x 4" wire mesh welded at the intersections.  The wire mesh fabric allows full, see-thru visibility, is virtually maintenance-free and eliminates danger from fire and accumulated dirt.  Wire meets ASTM specification A-82-34 with minimum tensile strength of 70,000 lbs.

SECTION DETAILS --- Conveyor Guard sections are shipped fully assembled to size and ready to install.  Back and side units are helixed together using #8-gauge steel wire.  When not in use, sides and deck fold together for flat, compact storage.  Adjoining sections are helixed together at the job site, providing positive fastening of consecutive units.  90° turns are easily made by cutting corner section of standard deck to shape with wire cutters.  (Excess material can be used for patch work.)

SIZES --- Standard sections measure 8' in length.  Side panels are available in 1', 2', and 3' heights and deck units are furnished in standard 2', 3', and 4' widths.  Larger deck widths (from 4' - 6') are constructed with transverse channels for added strength and can be supplied upon request.

Bends of 90° are easily made using standard sections.
